Camping and Outdoor Education:

Camp Fletcher utilizes outdoor activities to stimulate curiosity and the desire to learn. Programming is age specific and gives children and youth the chance to live, learn and share with others; the opportunity to discover and build their own individual skills; and a chance to become closely involved with the natural environment.  Camp Fletcher is looking for:

  • Volunteer Program Instructors
  • Eagle Scout Projects
  • General Maintenance Volunteers

*Donations are just as important as the time you share. In-Kind goods and services/tax deductible investments are always welcome and needed by our program; Labor, building and landscaping materials, equipment, appliances etc. Every donation received will increase the number of children and youth who experience the direct impact of Camp Fletcher.

Make A Gift!

Last year alone, Camp Fire USA provided nearly 22 million program hours to children, youth and families across the country.  This effort requires amazing dedication from staff and volunteers, but just as importantly, it requires a reliable and renewable source of funding.
  • We care by providing a variety of programs that deliver quality care for children in central Alabama during out-of-school-time hours.
  • We provide camps so that children and youth have outdoor opportunities to learn, explore and play together, while developing a lasting appreciation for the environment.
  • We contribute to communities by helping youth build life-skills through relevant educational, enrichment and service-learning programs.
  • And we connect children with caring, trained adults in small group atmospheres, as well as connect families to other families.

As we look forward to our next 100 years of service to the youth and families of central Alabama, we are humbled by the vastness of the challenge, but energized by the hundreds of little victories we help to make happen every day.  We know we have made a difference, are making a difference, and will continue to make a difference. All we need are the funds that make everything we do possible.    We ask you to please consider a tax-deductible investment.

Thank you for your consideration of this investment, your support will ensure that Camp Fire USA Central Alabama Council continues to deliver on its mission to build caring, confident youth and future leaders.
