Operated by Camp Fire USA Central Alabama Council, Camp Fire West's Child Care programs are designed to provide safe, affordable, quality child care for children and youth. The need for children to learn and develop in a safe environment outside of regular school hours is clear. Without summer day care available to parents who work, many children would be left to care for themselves. Lacking constructive community activities to engage them in the summer, children are at a higher risk of making poor decisions, abusing drugs and alcohol, experiencing gang involvement or becoming a victim of a crime. They are also missing out on building positive relationships with caring adults in a safe environment.

Day Camp Information
- Check-in: Beginning at 7:00 a.m.
- Check-out: Child/Youth must be signed out by 6:00 p.m.
- Boys and Girls Ages: 6 - 12
- Fee: $60.00 per child ($55.00 for each additional brother or sister in a family.)
- Family Guidance Assistance is accepted
- Lunch: Each child must bring a sack lunch.
- Many wonderful trips and activities are planned, including: Arts & Crafts, Sports & Games, Field Trips, Computer Lab, Reading and Math Tutoring, Swimming, LOTS OF FUN and Much More!
- Spaces Are Limited! Register Early To Guarantee Your Space!

Family Membership Fee/Deposit
- The Family Membership Fee is designed to offer savings to families enrolling in multiple Camp Fire West programs.
- A one-time payment of the Membership Fee entitles a family to participate in After School Care, Spring Break Camp and Summer Day Camp without having to pay registration fees for each individual program.
- The Family Membership Fee is required to reserve your child’s place in the Summer Day Camp program.
- Family Membership Fees are non-refundable.
- Family Membership Fees: $25.00 for the first child in family. $20.00 for each additional brother or sister in family. Deposit: A deposit is required only for those families who have already paid the Family Membership Fee when registering for the After School Care or Spring Break Camp programs.
- The deposit is needed to secure your child’s place in the Summer Day Camp program. It is non-refundable, but will be applied to your first week’s program fee.
- Deposit: $10.00 per child.
