The vision of the Career Prep program is to provide youth opportunities to explore future career paths by implementing a series of career exploratory sessions which will culminate in a school-wide career fair coordinated through cooperation of school personnel and community professionals. Students participate in interest and aptitude surveys and receive individually customized print-outs. These print-outs detail the occupations’ educational and training requirements, average starting salary and number of annual openings.

What is the cost of the Program?
Fee Structure 2011
0 - 100 Students: $25.00
101 - 200 Students: $50.00
201 - 300 Students: $75.00
301 - 400 Students: $100.00
Please Note: For groups larger than those listed above, please add $25.00 per 100 additional Students.

How much class room time is required for program presentation?
The Career Prep Program is a one-day event. Please allow 30 minutes - 1 hour for our instructors to present the information.
Please Note: Students will receive follow-up information providing additional career guidance.

The Career Prep Program is designed for 5th - 12th Grade Students.

What is a Career Fair?
A career fair is a forum that gives students the opportunity to visit volunteer presenters in a variety of occupations. The career fairs are held in a school library or gymnasium and provide students with in-depth and current information regarding the necessary requirements needed to pursue a career in a particular field. Printed materials are also distributed.
