Camp Fletcher utilizes outdoor activities to stimulate curiosity and the desire to learn.Programming is age specific and gives children and youth the chance to live, learn and share with others; the opportunity to discover and build their own individual skills; and a chance to become closely involved with the natural environment.
Program Outcomes
Children and youth thrive physically, emotionally and mentally when they spend adequate time out of doors in the natural environment.
Children and youth are more likely to retain what they learn from experience.
Future environmental crises will demand a generation of adult leaders with experience in, and appreciation for, the natural environment.
Camp experiences teach children social skills which serve them long after they leave camp.
A camp experience gives children and youth a sense of their own personal power as they learn to take care of themselves, becoming more independent
With each year that a child attends camp, new challenges and experience built upon each other make multiple years a developmental progression.

Summer Camp Programs....Much More Than Just Fun! An effective camp experience helps a child to become self-sufficient and builds self confidence. A positive week of character building with strong role models, combined with fun-filled activities, laughter and songs, can create a life-changing outcome. Learning to live together with others in a rustic setting and how to share responsibilities as a group can create an adventure that allows each camper to grow independently and positively. Summer Camp Programs are offered for youth ages 6 - 15. Learn More
