OBJECTIVES OF THE JUNIOR BOARD

The Junior Board of Camp Fire USA Central Alabama Council shall support the mission of Camp Fire USA, "to build caring, confident youth and future leaders". The primary purposes of the Junior Board shall be to promote and support Camp Fire USA and its programs through awareness development, fund raising, and volunteer/leadership recruitment and development.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

Each membership term is one year. Included is attendance of the following:

•  Quarterly board meetings held the second Tuesday in the months of January, April, July and October.

• Annual Meeting to elect Officers and committee members

• Committee Meetings

• Special Events

WHO CAN APPLY?

Young professionals over the age of 21 and under the age of 40, who have a minimum of three years' work experience, and who share a commitment to youth development.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

• As 2011 is the inaugural year of the Junior Board, recruitment will be ongoing. Thereafter, member elections shall occur each October.
